Compulsive thought patterns keep us immersed in the world drama.
It prevents us from recognizing the simplicity that is always here.
All our suffering and misery comes from the sense of being a separate individual struggling in a hostile world.
However, this is not so. The sense of separation arises as a contracted energy within a non-separate reality.
The state of non-separation can only be felt.
Thinking simply amplifies the sense of separation.
Resting as being and simply feeling the present moment is all that's needed.
When there is no thought, there is only reality.
Always.
Ultimately, what is it that truly matters?
Is it technology?
Is it money?
Is it freedom?
Is it relationships?
Is it health and wellbeing?
We are experts at verbalizing?
But underneath all the verbalizations, what is it really?
We are creatures driven by emotion and instinct.
Creatures that come and go.
Blind to anything beyond our self concerns.
